REINVENTION CENTER
GCEEE board member Bruce Abramson, Ph.D., J.D., launched The Reinvention Center in January 2009, in part to sustain America’s own engines of economic growth. The Reinvention Center’s first office is in San Francisco, CA, where the economic downturn of late 2008 has already created a flood of talented, underutilized professionals seeking redirection as they define their next great challenges.
The Reinvention Center is a social incubator built to hatch an entrepreneurial community. Every component of our work relates to the highest of all social goals: enabling individuals to maximize the value that they confer upon society.
In more prosaic terms, The Reinvention Center’s lectures, workshops, and discussion groups teach its members to create fulfilling work that enhances both their own lives and the lives of their customers or clients. Our senior reinventors believe that each member possesses untapped potential, and that we can help them tap it. In the pursuit of that goal, we combine the traditional content and methods of top-flight legal, business, scientific, and professional education with the more socially oriented methods that the human potential movement popularized throughout California.
Our offerings include a full suite of services, all focused on nurturing entrepreneurship, incubation, value, and customer service:
• Seminars, workshops, and discussion groups;
• Strategy and Intellectual Property Advising;
• Counseling and Incubation Consulting;
• Mediation and Contract Analysis;
• Networking Events and a Social Support Infrastructure;
• Valuation and Analytic Services;
• Co-working Environment and an Internship Program; and
• A Service exchange network.
